Senior PHP Developer (#6934)

One of the clients, that we are working with for more than 2 years now, is looking to hire a senior PHP developer / team lead who would be leading the whole IT of the company. At the moment there are 5 developers working there, but the plan is to expand (so far my clients have had a steady and healthy growth). The success is based on an innovative and interesting product, which is purely online. The office is really sunny and located in Berlin Mitte with an amazing view of the city.

Tasks:

  • Develop the existing PHP platform further and further
  • Since the team is still small most of the time the candidate will do programming and in the rest of the time manage the team. 
  • Spend more and more time on managerial tasks, as the team grows bigger
  • Work closely with the CEO on the projects already at hand and the upcoming ones

Skills:

  • Solid experience with PHP – the other developer will need to learn from you
  • Experience with MVC frameworks – e.g. Zend, Yii, Symfony, CakePHP, etc.
  • Ability to motivate others due to the team size
  • Understanding of architecture, team structure, task delegation, interviewing processes, etc.
